I study the potential power of functional marine foods and develop a research program focused on synthesizing molecular tools from the bioactive compounds found in marine foods.

Message

The creation of the ”chemical tool” in order to uncover the biological mechanism will be performed based on organic chemistry. I will train students to be specialists who can evaluate functional food and drug from a chemical perspective.
