カーボンニュートラルを達成するため、磁場閉じ込め高温プラズマを用いた核融合発電の研究開発が世界的に盛り上がっています。当方も、炉心プラズマの健全性を維持するために、炉心プラズマの周りの境界プラズマを計測・制御・模擬する研究をしています。プラズマ生成装置を用いた実験研究、光計測シミュレーション、プラズマモデリング研究、などに取り組みます。
